"In the fall of 2001, Baytek Systems was tasked with re-designing our website in order to increase our presence on the Web. A strong Web presence is extremely important for us as we are located 45 minutes outside of Ottawa and require a virtual showroom to qualify prospective clients. In addition, as the housing industry continues its rapid growth, our customers are becoming more discriminating about the service they receive. A Website is no longer a luxury but a must!

Our new Website was part of a corporate re-branding initiative which included a new logo, colour scheme and tag line. The new image, and as such the Website, was designed to provide us with a crisp, clean and most importantly, a contemporary look within the framework of our rich 24-year tradition. The site "wows" its visitors’ visual senses through the use of stunning images. The kitchens and bathrooms displayed on the site are meant to showcase our designers’ creative flair, ability to customize and attention to detail.

The new site was launched to coincide with the opening of the 2002 Ottawa spring home show. A custom-shaped CD card, which was also designed by Baytek Systems, was given away to prospective clients visiting our booth. This unique give-away announced the planned opening of an Ottawa showroom, introduced the new corporate image and showcased the highlights of our new site. Most importantly, the CD card provided a direct link to the new site and a tracking mechanism that helped determine its effectiveness.

The new site, which has received rave reviews from customers, suppliers and industry professionals, was made possible thanks to the vision, dedication, professionalism, and creative talents of the team at Baytek Systems. The fruits of their labour have resulted in over 35,000 hits in less than a month."
